点评：We went as a family to do the fast track 1 & 2 snowboarding lessons ahead of a trip to France later this year. Most of us were complete beginners and it was pretty nerve wracking but the instructors (Miles and Josh plus others helping) on both days were awesome. Super friendly, calm, good at explaining/demonstrating and made it fun for everyone aged 10 to 40 (odd). They gave constructive feedback after almost every run as opposed to just getting us down safely, so we were able to improve from clinging on for dear life and slipping all over the shop, to pretty controlled descents on both edges and basic turns by the end, which we wouldn't have thought possible given how bad we were to start with! I'd definitely recommend wearing protective stuff (wrists/tailbone/knees) because you fall a lot and some of us who didn't, regretted it because there are the odd patches that are quite hard and icy. The actual place was impressive. Well equipped and organised and loads to do for all the family. We didn't eat there but there was lots there if you needed it. Plenty of parking and we paid £4 for the whole day. I'm so glad we went and want to say a big thank you to the instructors for their patience and good humour with us all. We'd definitely go again.
Literally the only thing that we felt was slightly negative was the setup whereby the section of slope we were using ended was on a flat bit halfway down, but this was also where skiers were getting off the rope lift so there was always a crowd at the bottom, sometimes including very small children. It felt really scary barrelling down towards them when we were very inexperienced ourselves and didn't feel confident about stopping safely every time (and we also managed some hard falls trying to avoid them). Other than this it was so much fun.
