点评：Don’t book the standard class carriages they are dreadful.
We were told it would be a refurbished vintage mark 1 or mark 11 coach. It didn’t look refurbished and it certainly wasn’t clean, a musty damp smell is noticeable as soon as you arrive. Sills not cleaned carpets badly needing vacuumed build up of dirt on door frames, holes on walls, toilets looked like they haven’t seen a cleaner in weeks, a spray bottle with some chemical in it and a dirty cloth sitting on shelf where luggage is supposed to be stored. We weren’t allowed to visit the buffet carriage although it states on the ticket you can as it would have meant going through the first class carriage, they had a trolley service which arrived at our carriage quite late in the trip.
I had booked this trip as a 70th birthday present for my sister as she had been talking about it for ages and was really looking forward to it. Shame on WCR for ruining her day!

我预订这次旅行是作为送给妹妹的70岁生日礼物，因为她早就盼着能去，也一直念叨着这件事。WCR真可耻，毁了她的一天！
