Scenic Route Highway 49的点评
点评：Horrible! Do not recommend it!
We were driving toward Fresno from Yosemite National Park (and before that, through part of NV--so we drove through the mountainous terrain already. We also have experience driving through multiple mountain passes in Pacific Northwest, Canada, and Europe). Google Maps gave us directions through this highway. This was an absolutely the most insane, treacherous, unsafe drive we've ever made in our lives. There are no guardrails!! There are so many twists and turns while driving literally along the edge of a cliff. There is no way to turn around even if you wanted to. We ended up driving almost at the center of the road, over the yellow divider. I felt as an irresponsible parent having my child in the car with us during this ride. And this was during daytime in completely dry sunny conditions. What if it rains? What if the road is a bit slippery?
Essentially, find another way to drive. The views were not that scenic.
