Short walk through the village with great views over the loch
Luss Pier的点评
点评：Luss Pier was a short 5-10 minute walk from our hotel and the local carpark. The pier is the starting point for cruises and water activities and a the focal point for Luss as a tourist destination.
Luss Pier stretches about 75ft out into Loch Lomond. The end of the pier allows you some of the most magnificent and scenic views of the loch, islands and Ben Lomond to the north.
Situated on the west bank of the loch and facing east it gives one a great opportunity for photographing sunrises over the mountains and loch.
Looking back from the pier there area some great views of the village of Luss, especially the row of old slate miners cottages Beaches either side of the pier make great walks and there are plenty of water birds to see.
Saturday afternoons appear to be the "dare you to jump" day with many youngsters taking the plunge off the end of the pier, despite the H&S warnings.
