Make time for Marienbrucke at Pöllat Gorge to see Neuschwanstein if you can

点评：The Pöllat Gorge is near Neuschwanstein Castle which seems to have some hiking trails and access to those who want to explore the grounds directly. However, it is often closed for safety reasons. A popular way to see part of the gorge however is by way of the historic Queen Mary's Bridge (Marienbrucke) which spans 35 metres across the gorge from a high vantage point, providing walkers excellent views of the Castle.
We walked across Marienbrucke, taking in the views of the Castle as well as the gorge below. There are clear pools and a falls just below the bridge that is interesting to view if you can take your eyes off of Neuschwanstein. And try to turn around from time to time, the natural scenery and beautiful in the opposite direction of Pöllat Gorge is really impressive as well.
