Dissapointed with framing

点评：Recently collected a hand and foot cast of my newborn which is framed. The casts are beautiful just shame about the framing. Initially I was disappointed with my choice of frame and asked to pay to change it but when I collected it and opened it at home, it was damaged and finished to a very poor standard. I spoke to the shop and they offered to repair the frame but at the same standard so I declined. I now have to pay £70 to have it reframed in Cardiff. If you haven't got other frames to compare it to you may not notice the poor quality but unfortunately I have one I've compared it to and I've been told thats why I don't like this, not because it's of poor standard but because my other one is better. I was also accused of damaging it on the way home, so on collection thoroughly check your item. Shame as the staff were lovely when we had it done, but if your looking to have castings done, really look at the quality of the frame before you buy. They don't highlight how it's closed ( its taped together). Casts are beautiful but such a let down now after. I'm entitled to a full refund but I would then lose my precious casts so unfortunately I'll have to agree to disagree and be out of pocket. They so declined a partial refund which is what I suggested as good will gesture. Unfortunately this has soured my experience so I wouldn't return which is a shame as the other items and clay etc are amazing there.
