Spa At The Abbey Hotel的点评
点评：My sister and I visited for a relaxing day to unwind after a busy few weeks. While there were some positives, overall the experience didn’t meet our expectations.
Spa & Pool Area:
The pool area felt quite dark and lacked sufficient space to accommodate many guests. There were only four hard plastic loungers (very uncomfortable) and five rattan mesh loungers. We were lucky to get the more comfortable ones, but this was likely due to visiting on a quieter Monday. There were also a few standard chairs, but they aren’t ideal (for us) for relaxation in a spa setting.
Facilities:
The changing and locker areas were run down. Around half the lockers were broken and unusable, and the toilets were not clean—there was visible scum around the taps from the moment we arrived. Overall, the facilities looked tired and in need of attention.
Afternoon Tea:
The afternoon tea was nice. Two of the sandwiches had stale bread, but the rest was genuinely lovely. The restaurant was nice enough, and the view over the golf course from the terrace was beautiful.
Treatments:
This was the best part of our visit. Both of us had excellent treatments—my sister had a pregnancy massage and was very well cared for. We left the treatment rooms feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Staff:
All staff we interacted with were polite and professional. And on overhearing other conversations, other guests appeared to have good experiences too.
It's worth noting- children are allowed in the pool from 9–11 am and 4–6 pm. At 4 pm, the atmosphere completely changed—the pool became noisy with children jumping and splashing. Understandable behavior, but not ideal when you’re trying to enjoy a peaceful spa day away from your own children!
Overall:
Despite the great treatments and friendly staff, the overall experience was let down by the dated facilities, lack of comfortable seating, limited space, and the noisy pool during family hours. Sadly, we won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend to friends and family.

我们接触到的所有员工都很有礼貌，也很专业。我无意中听到其他人的谈话，感觉其他客人的体验也不错。
值得注意的是，儿童可以在上午9点至11点以及下午4点至6点进入泳池。但到了下午4点，泳池的氛围就完全变了——孩子们在泳池里跳跃嬉戏，吵闹不已。这种行为可以理解，但当你想远离孩子，享受宁静的水疗时光时，这种做法就不太理想了！
