Spa At The Abbey Hotel的点评
点评：We booked a spa day as a birthday treat for a friend and unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had.
Before attending, one of our group specifically called ahead to check whether suitable gowns would be available as she is plus-size. She was assured there would be no issue, but when we arrived she tried three different gowns and none fitted. This left her feeling embarrassed and upset on her birthday, despite having taken the time to check in advance.
Although we booked together as a group of three, our treatments were scheduled an hour apart, meaning we spent much of the day separated. I ended up spending around two hours alone, which completely defeated the purpose of booking a spa day together.
The facilities themselves were also very poor. The hot tub appeared dirty, there was visible dirt around the spa, children were using the facilities which took away from the relaxing atmosphere, no flip-flops were provided, and there was no secure way to lock our lockers. We also felt there was a lack of consideration regarding treatment options for guests with braids.
The experience was so disappointing that we decided to leave early. The only positive aspect of the day was the massage itself. The therapists were professional, friendly and provided excellent treatments, and the gentleman on reception was also welcoming and helpful.
What should have been a special birthday celebration ended with the birthday girl in tears and all of us feeling extremely let down. While the staff we dealt with were lovely, the facilities, organisation and overall experience fell far below expectations. We would not return and cannot recommend this spa based on our experience.

原本应该是一场特别的生日庆祝活动，却以寿星泪流满面、我们所有人都感到极度失望而告终。虽然我们接触到的工作人员都很友善，但设施、组织和整体体验都远低于预期。根据我们的经历，我们不会再来，也不会推荐这家水疗中心。
