点评：Unable to secure online tickets at the last minute, we approached the dock to try to get on the 1:00 trip
The friendly crew opened the door when they saw me reading their sign, "boarding begins at 12:45." They said there was going to be room to walk-on, and they boarded a few minutes early.
We paid $25 each as we walked on, grabbed a draft Hazy Little Thing ($6) and a cup of water, and walked up to the deck (the bow? It was the front) where there were several benches, chairs, and tables. Up top, there was a large group, so I was glad to get a seat below, but later went up to check it out, and it was also a great atmosphere, with several sofa chairs.
The indoor area reminded me of a beach side seafood restaurant. There were tables and a well stocked bar. No food on this trip. Not sure if it's allowed to be brought onboard, but probably?
The captain and crew were kind, helpful and pleasant. The captain was initially our bartender, then he proceeded to take us on a smooth, informative (but not annoying), ride on the Chester River, 90 minutes round trip.
The River Packet is a highly recommended activity.
