Scenic Coastal Hack — A Real Treat

点评：Had an absolutely fantastic hack in Aruba! The ride was about 90 minutes and took us through some breathtaking scenery — winding trails, rugged terrain, and that incredible ocean backdrop you just can’t beat.
Most of the horses were very quiet and steady, perfect for mixed-ability groups. Since I mentioned having saddle time, I was paired with a spirited 3-year-old who still had a lot of baby energy about him. He kept me on my toes but sure-footed once we got going and responsive if not overly. The rest of the horses were experienced, solid types that knew their job and handled the terrain beautifully. Myself ‘alone’ got a brief canter in due to spooking caused by tour passing with 4x4 jeeps but that was just down to the noise (certainly not the normal).
The guides were friendly and happy to snap photos along the way, which was lovely since I was riding solo.
All in all, a wonderful bucket-list experience. Just don’t expect a nose-to-tail plod — there’s a bit of spark in this ride, and it’s all the better for it!
