点评：We stopped in for a visit and had a mixed experience. First, I have to say that Sam, the manager, was wonderful. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made chatting at the upstairs bar a really enjoyable part of our visit. The winery is lucky to have her!
I’m not typically a beer drinker, but I actually enjoyed the Red Caboose, as well as the Triple Team and the blueberry cider mixture.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the wine selection. I normally enjoy Cabernet Sauvignon and most Merlots, but the wines I sampled were much drier than I prefer. I tried five different wines in total and didn’t find one that was a good fit for my taste. The sweeter options were also not what I was looking for. I prefer wines that are balanced—not too sweet and not too dry—and I didn’t feel like there were many options in that range.
I also wish there were more food choices available. That said, I do appreciate that guests are allowed to bring in their own food, which is a nice option.
While I was surprised and disappointed by the wine selection, the atmosphere and our conversation with Sam made the visit enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend stopping in if you enjoy trying different drinks, and hopefully they continue expanding their offerings.
