Great ‘I’ve been there’ place. One of museum staff told me it’s become a lot more popular and visited since the Russel Crowe movie Nuremberg came out (which kinda sucked btw).
Courtroom was reverted back to its pre-war appearance so the old Nuremberg Trials layout is gone. Another example of Nuremberg erasing history (see my review on the Zepplin Platz Rally Grounds and the Kongresshalle).
Several oddball things I’d add to this.
1. Germany wasn’t the only country to invade Poland in September 1939. The Soviet Union (Russia) also invaded Poland on 17 September 1939 AND invaded Finland (and still occupy a large part of it).
2. Few people know that former members of the Latvian and Estonian Waffen SS guarded the Nuremberg trials. They were considered conscripted troops and didn’t have a home to go back to due to the Soviets invading them.
