点评：Selva Madre is the real deal! I didn't know what to expect traveling solo and by plane for the first time, But I was really lucky to have found this place. Very good energy all throughout this community, The shamans and everyone else you'll meet are incredibly warm and friendly people. The Shamans are Highly focused on helping you deal with what ever it is that brought you to them. During Ceremony they will focus solely on each individual, then they will talk about your experience, offering wisdom and advise the following afternoon...I stayed for 3 weeks, I would have stayed longer if I could. If you do a longer stay, they will take you out on excursions to various places in the village, along the amazon river, maybe even into the city. These breaks from the ceremonies will recharge you, and allow you to keep going deeper, I'm very grateful for them.
You're given your own Cabin with Shelves, Bed, Pillow, Sheet, Hangers, Desk, Chair, Mirror, Sink, Shower, Toilet, Trash Can, and Purge Bucket. After every ceremony usually during lunch Miguel and Moises will come and clean your floors, replace your bucket, Empty the trash if its full, and they were even thoughtful enough to make everything on my bed neat each time, I really appreciated that. And Don't even get me started on Miguel's and Moises's cooking, I would have stayed longer just for that! Incredible food dishes, and juices that healed my body and soul in it's own way. Many times I almost cried because of how good it was. Now I actually cook like them sometimes, but it's not quite the same. The gentlemen at Selva Madre are my brothers, and I will return to them someday, for more introspection, food, and medicine!
I Highly recommend this place for all who are in need of spiritual healing.
