点评：We had the pleasure of visiting Maisy Battery during our trip to Normandy, and it was an absolute highlight. Our guide, Seth – the owner – was fantastic. His passion and deep knowledge of the site were infectious, and he took the time to share fascinating details that really brought the history to life.
Unlike some more commercial sites, Maisy Battery feels incredibly authentic and raw, giving you a genuine sense of what the area would have been like during the war. You can walk through the trenches, bunkers, and gun emplacements – it’s incredibly immersive.
It’s clear Seth genuinely cares about preserving this important part of history, and his enthusiasm made the whole experience even more memorable. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area – this is a hidden gem that shouldn’t be missed.
