Free museum, worth a trip
Museum of the Berkeley Springs的点评
点评:We visited the Berkeley Springs State Park where this museum is situated. Entrance into the museum is free although there is a donation box if you wish to donate to the upkeep of the museum.
There is parking along the left side of the state park. It’s a very small state park which houses a gazebo benches picnic tables the springs and spas and the museum. Only like one city block possibly.
The museum has handicap entrance and has a lot of information about how Berkeley Springs was America’s first spa town that was built and it used to be called Bath West Virginia. Some really cool artifacts, including George Washington’s table that he ate at and some geological finds. We also have some spring water there to sample.
On Saturdays they open at 11 AM. Worth a trip.
