Wisconsin Deer Park的点评
点评：My oldest son and I visited Deer Park while we were in the Wisconsin Dells, and overall we had a very enjoyable experience. The park is clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate, with clearly marked pathways that make it simple to explore.
One tip for future visitors: don't rely on the crackers that come with admission, as the deer didn't seem very interested in them during our visit. Instead, bring a few quarters and purchase the corn from the feeding machines throughout the park. The deer were much more interested in the corn, and feeding them was one of the highlights of our visit. The park has several different species of deer, and it was a unique opportunity to see them up close in a beautiful setting.
The only concern we had was the apparent lack of staff throughout the park. Aside from the employees selling tickets and the teenagers working the food stations, we didn't notice anyone actively monitoring the animals or interacting with guests. Most visitors were respectful and followed the rules, but it would have been reassuring to see staff checking on the animals throughout the day.
Near the back of the park, we observed a doe with her fawn, and the doe appeared to be extremely distressed. She was pacing rapidly around the enclosure while the fawn struggled to keep up. We don't know what caused the behavior, but it was concerning to witness and put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable visit. Hopefully it was an isolated situation, but it reinforced the importance of regular animal welfare checks to ensure each animal is healthy and not experiencing unnecessary stress.
Despite that experience, Deer Park is still a neat attraction, especially for families and animal lovers. We hope the park continues to prioritize the care and well-being of its animals while providing visitors with such a memorable opportunity to interact with them.
