点评:I'm travelling by campervan so keeping lower speeds along some very bumpy tracks is necessary. Some parts were full of potholes but plenty of passing areas so the drive isn't too bad. I arrived late Saturday afternoon and there were a lot of vehicles. Plenty of parking areas and the council are expanding the roads and car parking which is good. A small fee to park would be acceptable. I walked along the top for great views of the lighthouse and cliffs. There were quite a few waiting for the sunset but moved on as night fell. I stayed overnight alongside a couple of other vans and all was quiet. Next morning a relaxed walk down the steps and rough path to see the lighthouse itself. As others have said, not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The lighthouse is still in operation, automatically, but the buildings are empty and sad. There was some burnt, rusty rubbish which could have been an old bed. Be good if it was removed. There were quite a few people but never felt crowded. Yes a good walk back up so I took my time and enjoyed the views.
