North Cave Wetlands Nature Reserve的点评
点评：We've been visiting here occasionally for a few years now. We're a young family and historically have liked long outdoor walks, but with the kids in tow long walks tend to end up with long periods lumping mini people back to the car and back ache. We've found a few spots for mini walks and this one is one of them. If you take your time to look this site is full of nature as part of the Wildlife trust, but initially we would just park up and walk the site maybe stopping at a couple of benches and looking out for dragonflies (which I've always liked). However, now this site has really opened us up to just how much wildlife there is around and we've subsequently become wildlife lovers. The site can be muddy in places especially through the winter and the currently very wet spring we're having and theres not a lot in terms of a visitor centre with toilets etc. There is a great little butty van that's always there. I hope if a proper visitor centre one day that they will look after this butty van and keep it as part of the furniture somehow. The site is currently expanding so its a possibility for one day. I'm not entirely sure if theres any toilets. There are a bunch of hides dotted around and I'm hoping one day to spend a bit more time in them to really see the birds that visit the site.
