点评:I took a walking tour and a cooking class with women from Nyamirambo women’s center. It’s a very informative tour and an interesting authentic experience, that I highly recommend. Groups for the walking tour are small, so you get a chance to ask a lot of questions. As for the cooking class - it started with buying veggies at the market, so you get a full cooking experience. Except for dish washing. ;) The whole meal was vegetarian. One if the dishes included peanuts, but hosts warned us about it. Other dishes didn’t include any common allergens. We (chef Aminatha and me) cooked potatoes, rice, beans, bananas, cassava, dodo and cabbage. It was a good substantial meal. That’s what they offer to people, who stay for lunch after the walking tour. I recommend this experience. If not from a culinary point of view (all the dishes were pretty basic), more as a chance to see how people live, cook and what they eat.
Also it’s an opportunity to support women from the amazing Nyamirambo women’s center, who do a great job supporting and empowering local women.

这也是支持来自令人惊叹的 Nyamirambo 妇女中心的女性的机会,她们在支持和赋予当地女性权力方面做出了巨大贡献。
