What a place. Fantastic history.

点评：So you ever wondered what it was like for the pilots as they thundered down the runway. Well, now you can sit in the seat of a jet and a bomber and feel the ambience of the cockpit. The enclosed space of the Vulcan bomber, the crew only having a small radar screen to identify threats from behind. Walk through history and discover the jet engine and it famous creator, Sir Frank Whittle. Discover how the UK was at the front of jet craft design in the 50's, 60's,70' and 80's (possibly some of the 90, we will have to confirm this. Children and adults (myself included)) will immerse themselves in a bygone era. The curators at the museum are living encyclopedias and will be more than willing to talk through the history of these amazing aircraft. Great model shop as well. After all that, you can sit done for a good cuppa tea and a brownie. Well done. Tally ho.
