Sharkmen Fishing Charters的点评
点评：After reading a few bad reviews on here and plenty of good ones on other platforms I rang Sharkmen for a chat. I spoke with the lovely Dani who explained the matters around current and changing fishing seasons, bookings and cancelation policies and the ever so important factor - the impact of weather. When I started asking more technical fishing questions which required in-depth knowledge, she advised she would get a Skipper to give me a call.
Mr Sharkmen Marco gave me over 20 minutes of time discussing the fishing and providing honest feedback about the current fishery. Even stating I should hold off on booking for snapper as it has been tough fishing. That particularly surprised me. He owns the business and was happy to tell me NOT to book and miss out on paying customers! His passion was clear and knowledge immense. His explanation of the impacts of wind speed, direction and tides made me realise it’s not simple.
I ended up booking a whiting charter in Western port bay for myself and my son and we were greeted by Skipper Luke with deckhand Nick. The boat was large, clean and well equipped. It did have a toilet on board but it is one to get you out of trouble, I would recommend going before departure.
We had a great morning fishing, plenty to go round for a nice feed.
The crew answered our questions and even taught us how to fillet whiting. They were pleasant and approachable.
Overall my experience was a good one and I am booking a tuna charter for my son and I in May with Sharkmen again!
