Disappointing, from arrival to departure.
Auldhouse Arms的点评
点评：When we arrived we parked at the car park at the back and came in the rear entrance.
Once we figured out which way to go we found the Bar, we were not shown to our table, the woman who greeted us pointed at the table and said over there.
The same woman took our drinks order in a hurry (no drinks menu, no volunteering of what wine was available), started to walk away before asking if there was anything else.
The starters were ok; olives and bread (shop bought olives with whole garlic cloves in the dish, a little crusty bread roll and the smallest drizzle of olive oil and balsamic), veg pakora (ok not that crispy), prawn cocktail (fine).
The mains 3 people had the Wagyu Burgers, all said they were nice enough, the fries were pre salted.
I had the £26 steak which was ordered medium and came out well done.
This was sent back, when it came back out it was cooked as requested but this time it was so over seasoned all I could tasted was Salt
This steak was also small and was served with fries and a pepper corn sauce and that’s it, no veg
For £26 I expected better
The situation with the steak reminds me of the service again, the person who switched out the steak for was apologetic and check on how it was the other staff treated us like they would rather we were not there.
They market themselves as gastro pub restaurant with cosy vibes
It was cold rushed and unwelcoming
Based on the reviews it seems like it’s the toss of coin if you have a good or bad experience
(I usually take pics of my food but I was enjoying the company of family and too disappointed to think about that)
Total bill for 2 white wine 2 red wine, 1 diet coke 1 pint of tenants and the food was £142.60

这道菜被退回去了，重新端上来的时候虽然按要求烹制了，但这次调味过重，除了咸味什么都尝不出来。
这块牛排也很小，只配了薯条和胡椒酱，仅此而已，没有蔬菜。
26英镑的价格，我期待更好的服务。
牛排的问题再次让我想起了他们的服务。给我们换牛排的那位服务员虽然道歉并询问了我们的感受，但其他员工的态度却像是在敷衍我们。
他们自称是氛围温馨的美食酒吧餐厅。
但餐厅冷冰冰的，服务员匆匆忙忙的，让人感觉很不自在。
根据评论来看，这家餐厅的体验好坏完全取决于运气。
（我通常会拍食物的照片，但当时我正和家人在一起，心情很差，所以没心思拍照。）
两杯白葡萄酒、两杯红葡萄酒、一罐健怡可乐、一品脱啤酒和食物的总账单是142.60英镑。
