Hidden Cove Park & Marina的点评
点评：On Friday, July 7, we took 1/2 days off to take our granddaughter to lunch and the beach at Hidden Cove. We had never been there before, ever. We arrived about 1:30pm, the woman came from the office, my husband handed her $20 cash for parking. She said "I'll be right back with your pass." She came out, "I'll get the gate." Never asked what we were planning to do. We drove away, passed the member parking to the regular parking area. We walked straight to the dock to go to Rockin' S grill. We were not even in our swimsuits or carried towels, lunch then the beach. I'd checked online the hours of Rockin' S, and even that morning 11am was when they open. When we got there, there was a handwritten note on the door - "Today we open at 4pm". We went back to the car, to the office (again, we hadn't eaten lunch yet) and I asked for a refund. The 8 employees or so, just sitting on the desks and counters, or standing a round, had no idea the restaurant wasn't open. One employee called out there, then he said his manager said because we didn't get a $20 restaurant pass, instead of an admittance pass - they couldn't offer a refund. Never been there before, the first employee never asked about going to the restaurant, and having never been there before, how did we know to tell them we were there for lunch? We were in the park no more than 20 minutes. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!! Left, went to Hula Hut then paid $10 for Little Elm beach. Far better deal, much nicer beach area, and other kids there for my 7-year old granddaughter to play with.
