Best Collections of Collections Ever!

点评：When you first pull in, it really doesn’t look like much. Gravel single lane drive into the museum. Just park in front of the “General Store” and one of the owners or children will be greeting you with a warm welcome.
We were shown the General Store and then asked if we wanted to continue the tour. I am glad we said yes!
They have a boat house, a house with just Christmas, an older home turned into museum and every room is a different collection of some sort. They have taxidermy, rocks, cars, and honestly, so much I can not even remember.
Then you move onto the Pioneer Town part. So cute and reminds you of the Wild West.
It is hands down the Best Collections of collections I have ever seen. I have never seen so many different kind of collections in one place. They have everything from old carriages, door knobs, tools, antique toys, an actual dinner set up from the 50s with a working Jukebox.
We spent over 2 1/2 hours here and were just in awe of all the different types of collections and the amount of items in each collection.
Do wear decent shoes to walk in, the rooms tend to stay cool even on a hot day, although some of the buildings were really hot in a 80 degree day. Dress for the weather.
The new owners have only been there for 2 years, but they have so much knowledge about the items and where some of it came from.
They have a beautiful building that has a great deck that sits on the Snake River where you could enjoy lunch. I believe they plan on serving snacks from the building eventually.
I think young kids up to age 100+ would love this museum! I would definitely make this a must see if you are anywhere near here. Take the road less traveled from Boise or to Boise and stop here!!
