点评：On December 23rd, I had the pleasure of experiencing a 2-hour ride at MTM Ranch. From the moment I arrived and was warmly greeted by the owner, Patty, I immediately felt at ease and knew I had made the right choice.
Safety was a top priority for the team. Although I was offered a helmet, I chose to decline. They also kindly warned me that my brand-new iPhone might be at risk of getting damaged, but reassured me that many photos would be taken throughout the ride, which they did.
Before saddling up, they assessed my riding experience and height, ensuring I was correctly matched up with Milton, a gentle and easy-to-ride horse.
Our guide, Blake, was engaging and shared interesting insights about the local plants, wildlife and history of the area. He even explained the trail maintenance work they had been doing, which sounded like quite a labor-intensive project. The views during the ride were breathtaking, and the horses were incredibly sure-footed on the rocky trails.
I often sign up for horseback rides when I travel, but this was my first time riding in the desert. It was such a memorable experience, and I would absolutely do it again.
