Staff allows birds to be sprayed at in the face with water and they don’t care

点评：First off, the food was actually great and it's a really pretty spot. What my review is mainly about the service and what I witnessed at a lunch. The servers seem kind of blah and unhappy working there. How can you not be happy? You've got a gorgeous view and the restaurant is pretty.
The main reason why I'm reaching out here is because I witnessed an older man intentionally spraying water into the faces of birds to shoo them away. I get that the birds are a little annoying but they're everywhere and absolutely harmless. You just have to shoo them away lightly and they'll go away. It's absolutely cruel to allow someone to spray them so hard in the face it makes the birds stumble and struggle to get up. He was even spraying up at the umbrellas hitting other customers.
I let someone know at the hostess area that this was happening and all they said in the most careless tone is "yeah sure ok I'll tell management". I doubt she will based on her tone.
Please don't allow animal abuse to happen at this restaurant. It honestly ruined the whole vibe for me at the restaurant. Can't believe you guys even allow this. And your staff seemed to be ok and careless about it. Do better please!
