My family's ancient home, still beautiful as a ruin. There's a stone circle, too!

点评：Moy is a ruin now, but it's the ancient seat of Clan MacLaine. It's still an impressive tower in a magnificent setting on the each of a sea loch, Loch Buie. It's free to wander around - I always give the castle a friendly pat - but it's not safe to go inside and it's locked up. There are some good interpretive signboards.
It's not too easy to get to, and you'll need a car - no bus goes there. From Craignure drive south and west, the road goes to single track soon. Pass the turning for Duart Castle (that's the other guys, the MacLeans) and watch for the left turn to Lochbuie. From here it's about 25 minutes to Lochbuie. Keep on the main road, such as it is, don't take the turn to Croggan. The road ends at Lochbuie Post Office (a cafe now) car park. But you can turn left and drive quite a bit farther to the signs that say park here, on the grass. Walk toward the big house and look for signs for the footpath. Follow the path along the sea short until you reach the castle. Including walking time, it's about 40 min from the turn off to the castle.
To visit the Lochbuie standing stones, drive back the way you came just until you cross a bridge. There's a small car park, and you'll walk across pastures on a well-worn path, which also follows a trail of widely-spaced rocks painted white. Close all gates! It's about a 20 min walk to the stones from the car park.
