点评：I've heard a lot about this place in my search for catfish. I did shoreline fishing, or tried to. I was the first in line this morning. I pulled up,,, my car was immediately covered with super knats I could even hardly unload. I was prepared with shrimp, nightcrawlers, anchovies, chicken livers prepared for a good day. The marina recommended Catfish Cove. They told me it's about 20 min walk, I was ready or thought I was being diabetic. It's actually about 45 minutes pulling a wagon. These pay lakes need to be a little more customer service and experience driven. I finally made it and realized I had to find a path down to the water, where I could have fallen due to rocks and the slope or even snakes. I tried multiple set-up rigs and various bait,,, even chummed the water. Nothing,,, not even one bite. So disappointed. With all the rules they have, I expected more for my $24 experience. From 5:30am to 10:30am I was done. The heat was too much. Maybe the boats had more success but I would not recommend for shoreline fishing.
They need to do some clearing for shoreline fisherman, not just for experience but safety also.
Due to the distance,,, they should offer some type of shuttle service.
I don't believe these places even stock fish like they claim.
On top of that the green algae started coming in heavy.
