Elora Quarry Conservation Area的点评
点评：We didn't know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised about this place. We booked a Saturday afternoon time slot (15:00-19:00) and got to the gate at 14:15. We were told by the park staff that entrance probably wouldn't start until a little before 15:00 but that we could wait on the shoulder and be the 1st to enter. So we waited and we were glad that we did. Once we were let in, we had 1st pick as to where we wanted to set up our beach camp. Then we could relax and just enjoy the day.
The water was cool but nice. It's very murky for anything like snorkeling, but it seemed clean enough. They limit the number of visitors, so it never felt too crowded. They don't allow large inflatables (like boats or paddle boards) but smaller, single inflatables are okay. Park rangers and security ensure rules are followed but there are no lifeguards so swim at your own risk.
We enjoyed our time and will be back. We'll also make sure that we're in line early.
