Agatha Christie Classic- A real triumph

点评：Another entertaining evening spent at The Bear Pitt Theatre in Stratford upon Avon. Me and a friend joined a full house for a superb performance of an Agatha Christie classic.
To set the scene , dramatic lighting introduced us to all characters isolated on a mysterious island, then the eerily suspenseful music started, we knew we were in for a treat. Gradually, each character was made to squirm with reminders of their past ‘misdemeanours’ and we started to sense their imminent danger. Washing over each scene was quietly unsettling music, which heightened that sense of foreboding . Each actor masterfully brought their own interpretations of the theme of justice & retribution.
We quite forgot this was ‘an amateur production’
Bravo to all involved, (front of house, bar staff, set design, lighting, music and, of course, the actors) Outstandingly entertaining evening, it was a real triumph .
