El Kantaoui Golf Course的点评
点评：Have played both the Sea Course and the Panorama many, many times over the years on our annual Tunisian golfing tour. There were 7 golfers on this visit and we'd booked this year's tee times when we were here in October 2023. Initially we were booked in to play 2 rounds on each of the courses but after receiving an email from the club, we were well aware that the Panorama had significant problems on several of the holes. After taking a drive around the Panorama to have a look (holes 9 - 14 were unplayable), we opted to play our 4 rounds on the Sea Course. Apart from a few repair patches on one or two of the greens (greenkeepers were working continuously throughout the week on greens and bunkers), the course was in good condition. We tee'd off at 08:30 each morning and at this time of day the bunkers had all been freshly raked, unfortunately there weren't rakes in every bunker so on several occasions we weren't able to 'repair' the sand to the standard we would have liked.
We are all looking forward to next year's tour, hopefully the Panorama will be back in play, albeit I think it will need some serious money spent on the upper part of the course as it needs a new irrigation system.
We stay at the Riviera Hotel just a short walk from the club however the caddy master allows us to leave our clubs, free of charge, on the buggies for the duration of our tour. All of the staff; the reception, bar, cleaners, caddy masters are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for them and each year we are greeted as though we are family.
We are all looking forward to next year's tour, hopefully the Panorama will be back in play, albeit I think it will need some serious money spent on the upper part of the course as it needs a new irrigation system.
