Nashville, Indiana - great place to visit.

点评：This trip was planned to take place last year and had to be postponed due to a health issue.
Hills O'Brown Vacation Rentals were great to work with. They initially moved it to fall of '24 to give me time to see where my health was and then rescheduled to May 1of this year. Our original cabin was sold during this time, and they contacted me to show me other options - they were wonderful! The cabin we stayed in "Night Owl" was very charming and peaceful. The hot tub was great! Flowers were in bloom there that were not quite ready at home - it was beautiful. The hilly countryside was breathtaking to look at as we drove. I was with my daughter - we have been taking a weekend trip every May for years, I call it my Mother's Day gift to me!
Nashville, IN is a very nice little community with shops, good eating and wineries. We visited all 6 of the wineries and the people at each one were very knowledgeable about their wines and of Nashville as well as being very personable. Nashville is also the home of Hard Truth Distillery where we ate on Saturday evening and had the best meal and service. The grounds there are very well landscaped. I had made reservations and would recommend it. Nashville is about a half hour from Bloomington, so we spent a few hours Saturday morning exploring Bloomington and Oliver and Butler wineries. Both wineries are beautiful - Oliver even has a lovely picnic area and pond.
All in all, it was a wonderful weekend! Plenty of bonding time and came home with a lot of wine.
