Horrendous parking experience
Hersheypark Stadium的点评
点评：My experience trying to park at Hersheypark Stadium for the Chris Stapleton concert was horrendous. I drove 2 hours from Philadelphia to Hershey, then spent another 2 hours driving around in circles, afraid I was going to miss the beginning of the show.
The signs point people to lots that are “full” even though you can see open spots. The friendly and well-meaning volunteers block certain entrances and point you further down the road where more blocked entrances and standstill traffic await. I felt bad for the volunteers because it’s not their fault Hershey Park hasn’t figured out concert parking logistics.
Everything was great when I finally got inside. The event staff and volunteers were friendly and helpful. Some locals I spoke with shared their parking hacks (try the Giant Center?) but agreed concert parking has always a problem. A police officer told me the police force doesn’t make the parking plan. A volunteer told me the parking plan changes every week.
One more tip. The sun sets over the stands on the left side of the stadium, so to avoid being blinded by the setting sun when you finally do park yourself in the bleachers, choose seats in Sections 1-8.
