点评:Great tour with Tim Peters as our guide, and let me tell you, there is no other guide you'll wanna do this tour with. He's so authentic, and so knowledgeable, and has so much passion & zeal for this, he's actually living the life of 100 years ago!
I learned a lot about this way of life, saw the amazing work the miners did all those years ago, and am grateful for the life I have! We toured down to level 7 of 92 in the mind, the rest are flooded. We rode the third oldest cog in the country down to the mine opening. We also got to explore all the out-buildings and see the tools & equipment just sitting out rusting away.
Tour is 2.25 - 2.5 hour long, about a mile hike in the 47 degree mine over wet and rocky paths, all while water is dripping from above. It was awesome and I highly recommend it. And don't forget to pick up your SUNSHINE FUEL in the gift shop!!!
