Hermann Wine Trail的点评
点评：The scenery is beautiful and the town has a unique charm. Unfortunately, this is our second wine tour and "underwhelming" is the nicest word I can use to describe the experience.
The best experience (food, wine, and ambience) is, by far, Adam Puchta Winery. We have nothing but positive reviews for this place. If we could rate this place by itself, it would easily be a 5/5.
The worst experience we had was at Robller Vineyard. While the scenery was amazing, the wine was below average and the food was inedible. We have done the BBQ and Farmer's Table Wine Trails, and they should be embarrassed by the quality of the food they served. The BBQ sandwich looked like watered-down sloppy joes on a roll and the deconstructed tamale was inedible (picture attached). Robller Vineyard is often the first stop for people due to its location being so far away from Hermann. This NOT the first impression you want to have if you're an organizer for this event.
I would not recommend this event to future visitors of Hermann. The poor wine selections, small sample sizes, and underwhelming food would all be reasons to skip the wine trail and visit the wineries separately.
