Lido Metamare的点评
点评：This trip to Italy was not planned as a beach vacation. However, when your hotel for four nights is located above the biggest and nicest beach on the north side of the Sorrentine Peninsula, it becomes hard to ignore.
Lido Metamere is located in the town of Meta, east of Sorrento, but an easy commute by local bus. Unlike some other beaches in the area this one is sandy rather than rocky and with a fairly shallow slope. The breakwater also makes the waters fairly calm.
Loungers and beach umbrellas are available to rent and the cost is hgh but no more than elsewhere in the region. There are also shower facilities. There are plenty of places to eat and drink so one doesn’t have to trek back up the cliff to Meta, although there is an elevator. Costs are what one would expect on the Amalfi.
The only caveat if visiting during the summer tourist season is to try and avoid coming on weekends. As I said it’s one the biggest and best beaches in the area and on weekends that translates into the busiest and most crowded as well.
