Unique Shopping Street in Hokkaido

点评：It is best to plan at least four to five hours to walk down this busy shopping street in Otaru when you arrive. There are plenty of surprises along the way as many shops offer different items sold such as candy, seafood, seaweed, kelp, chocolate, local artwork and handicrafts, music boxes, Hokkaido ice cream, as well as many other eating locations. There are not many places to sit and eat outdoors but many were eating while walking. Many places offered food that used local products as the Hokkaido milk wheat, and curry. The different variety of glasswork items and music boxes were definitely worth a stop over to view at least.
Miffy has a store as well as a bakery that sells many fresh baked breads and pastry products that are Miffy related. Snoopy is located across the street from Miffy where there is a vast amount of whimsical Snoopy related products for sale. Also there are mini statue figurines such as Doremon and Anpanman characters located along Sakamachi Dori Shopping Street.
Worth the walk down with the crowd of many others to experience this unique port town in Hokkaido!
