Horrible interaction.
Rose Narrowboats的点评
点评：We had the most unpleasant interaction with an employee of Rose Narrowbaots.
We were on a rental boat from another company and had arranged to meet my daughter and son-in-law at Rose Narrowboats location.
They drove down the access road towards Rose Narrowboats and were approached by a male individual wearing navy clothes with a dark coloured wide brimmed hat. Probably aged over 60.
He said they could not bring their car down the access road - and indeed could not even unload their luggage onto our boat.
So they went to the top of the access road and parked on the main road and attempted to get to the towpath with their luggage on foot.
This individual again approached them and said they cannot even WALK down the access road.
Yet a number of scouts and dog walkers had clearly gained access to the towpath via the access road. His behaviour appeared vindictive and malicious.
He also took multiple photos of my son-in-law and car without his permission.
We ended up accessing the towpath from the road via the other side of the road bridge which was steep, slippery and covered in brambles.
On contacting the Canal & River Trust they confirmed that the access road is for use by the public to access the towpath so he had no right to prevent us from walking down it..
We have emailed Rose Narrowbaots but have received no reply.
His customer services certainly need some work. Probably better if he finds another job that makes him happier.
