Wailea Golf Maui disappointment
威雷亚高尔夫俱乐部的点评
点评：We have played both the Emerald and Gold courses in the last week. While paying premium prices ( $200++ ), the conditions were very poor. Maybe it’s my mistake for paying premium prices and expecting premium conditions. Emerald course had very slow bumpy greens while the Gold course had fairly recent aeration with sand and very poor recovery from it. Slow play was rampant and the only marshal we saw shrugged and said we’ve tried to speed them (local players) up in the past and they usually just slow down further.
Staff- We have played here in years past and the staff, top to bottom, for some reason are very full of themselves and unfriendly. I could almost see it if this were some high end private course (this absolutely doesn’t make it acceptable), but this is a very public facility.
Of course the views are beautiful, you are on Maui, but it’s beautiful everywhere here.
Please don’t waste your time and money with Wailea Golf Club. Check out the other public courses on Maui, they are cheaper and they will treat you much better.
We won’t make that mistake again.
