Beautiful views and friendly staff at Wailea
威雷亚高尔夫俱乐部的点评
点评：My spouse, two teenagers, and I had a nice round at Wailea on New Years Day. Recommended by friends, we booked online in advance. Teed off on the Emerald just before 1 pm. The views of the ocean were really beautiful. Carts have estimated distance, so no problem if you forgot your range finder. We all rented clubs and were pleased with the newer Callaway sets received. They also included six Callaway supersofts with the rental. Free range balls as well. All staff members we encountered were very friendly and helpful!
I agree with other commenters that the greens were pretty slow/a little dried out looking. Several of the ladies/red tee boxes were not flat which my daughter and I found odd. Many of them were more of a mound shape. The rest of the course was in great condition. Course was fairly backed up with groups waiting at most tee boxes... that said, we did finish our round in just over 4 hours. Despite the slow-play, we all had a great time out there.
Post-round we had dinner at Gather In (attached restaurant). While the staff was very nice and the views were again beautiful, it was the worst food we had our entire 10 days in Hawaii.
