A great family experience!
Cheetah Outreach - Somerset West的点评
点评：Our family of four enjoyed our VIP experience today and learned a great deal from the very capable team at Cheetah Outreach. I have two boys, a 17.5 year old and a 12 year old, both eager to learn about cheetahs. We saw other cheetah experiences in Zimbabwe and Johannesburg but I didn’t like what I was seeing the massive ads…cheetahs on leashes and photo packages? Didn’t feel right. However, this place, Cheetah Outreach, isn’t like that. At Cheetah Outreach, they care greatly about the animals and the animals themselves let their handler know if they’re in the mood for an encounter or not. The cheetahs are well cared for and respected, not treated like monetizing props.
We had a chance to ask a lot of questions in addition to petting one of the male cheetahs in the manner instructed. One of the staff members took photos for us while we petted the cheetah and asked questions on the side. We weren’t here for photos although we got lots, we came to learn.
It was interesting to hear about how their dog program helps cheetahs too. These cheetahs are ambassadors and now it is up to us to spread the word about the desperately low number of them left in the wild, and help with conservation efforts.
We booked directly and took Uber here. Their communication was great throughout.
Great experience! Come with a good attitude to learn and be respectful of the animals. They are amazing.
