Beautiful Setting but Dirty, Overcrowded, and Overrated

点评：I visited Grande Beach in Positano and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The beach is divided into a free public area and several private beach clubs, but both were overcrowded, making it hard to find a comfortable spot.
The sand is black and scorching hot, making it nearly impossible to walk barefoot. The water was murky and far from clean, with floating bits of paper and other debris—some of it looked suspicious and definitely not what you’d expect from such a famous destination.
While the surrounding scenery of Positano is undeniably beautiful, the beach itself simply does not live up to the hype. If you’re visiting Positano, I’d recommend enjoying the views from above or taking a boat tour rather than spending time on Grande Beach.
