Beautifully restored relic of a station - worth a couple of hours

点评：My 82-year-old father and I enjoyed a couple of hours here on a Sunday afternoon on our US road trip. We travelled there by green line to have a break from driving (not to be recommended due to the behaviour of the other passengers), The station has been beautifully restored with an elegant cafe where we had a tasty if a bit expensive traditional British afternoon tea (to make us feel at home!). There was also a fun train store (Choo Choo Bob's) where I bought a couple of souvenir postcards and I enjoyed chatting to the staff at Storyline books (but the resident cat was asleep and out of sight). There was one friendly security guard to told us where the restrooms were - they were very clean. Finally I enjoyed walking around the station to find it about it's history - especially in the historic stairs stairwell.
