Granite State Whale Watch的点评
点评：My family (wife, daughter, and father-in-law) went on a morning whale watch in early August, and it was a truly memorable experience. The weather was absolutely perfect—a clear, calm day on the water, which made for a comfortable ride. While there was some haze from wildfire smoke, the views were still quite good.
The expedition was a huge success in terms of sightings. We were lucky enough to see six humpback whales and even a momma and calf fin whale. The crew was knowledgeable and impressive, identifying each humpback whale by name as we approached. This was made possible because each trip is accompanied by marine biologists who track and log the whales, which adds a fascinating educational layer to the trip.
While most of the humpbacks were "logging" (sleeping) and we didn't see many tails or breaching, the 20+ dolphins we encountered were incredibly active, which was a real treat! We also saw a lonely ocean sunfish and a few seals and marine birds.
The boat itself was clean and felt strong and well-maintained. We spent the entire five-hour trip on the upper deck, which was not crowded at all. The entire crew was friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about the marine environment.
Overall, it was an enjoyable and highly recommended excursion. I would definitely do it again!
