Do not recommend this despite cheese being good

点评：The goat cheese is very good, hence 2 stars. However, the website had led me to believe there would be an opportunity to interact with the goats. That did not happen. They have 260 goats kept crammed together in a large covered enclosure except when they are let out to the pasture or milked. We did not get a chance to touch them or watch the milking process. The website said they had baby goats to see but this was not the case.
After walking through the cheese processing area, we were seated and eventually given wine, water, bread, and an array of small portions of cheeses. We were left alone for over an hour with no one checking on us or offering anything else. We were about to ask for our check and leave when we were given 3 additional slices of cheese of different age profiles. At this point we had no bread or wine left and had little water also, but nothing else was offered even for purchase. We tried the three cheeses, paid, and left. Very underwhelming.
We were the only tourists there at the time, but we did book in advance so they knew we were coming. Other family members and friends were at the table next to us interacting with one another. We didn’t feel particularly welcome.
This could be a great tourist attraction if they just tried a little bit with the hospitality. It would have been great to get an explanation up front of what the tour and tasting would consist of, and to be offered additional cheese, bread, and/or wine for purchase later as the afternoon progressed. With the tour being held from 12-2 pm, we had thought it would be enough for a light lunch, but it wasn’t so we went to a restaurant afterwards. The tour and tasting was definitely not worth 56 Euros. Although the cheese was tasty, I don’t recommend this. Our guide said they sell most of their cheese directly from the farm, which we found interesting as there was never an opportunity to buy anything beyond the tasting we had booked.
