点评:Travelled here from the village of Hope just a few miles away. Finding the main carpark can be tricky if using satnav and postcode. But we got there. I would advise get there earlier in the day. By the time we left after around 3 hours the main carpark was full and the gate closed for a while.
Very friendly staff at the visitor centre. Maps of the walks either in paper form or for you to photograph on your phone.
Blue walk is advertised as no styles or stairs. Just under three miles and a very nice walk. First approx half was good firm gravel paths. Bits of the second half much muddied and chewed up. But all relatively easy walking.
All the walks are dog friendly (dogs need to be on short leash, as there are cattle and sheep in many places)
The shorter red walk appeared popular with families with younger children.
The middle orange walk also very easy.
Lovely cafe at the end of the walks. Queues can get pretty busy.
Volunteer run kitchen garden behind the cafe. Not much there at end of the season, but good chat with one of the gardeners did confirm items grown in the garden do get into the cafe.
A very pleasant and enjoyable three hours.
