点评：PA was a nice place to go. Not a big 'resort' feel and not a ton of typical tourists. Lots of N.American ex-pats living there, and lots of long term renters vs short 1 week stay partiers (iykyk). Easy going feeling and felt safe at all times.
Good restaurants - some better and less expensive than others. Lots of live music options throughout the week. Check the local restaurant/bar scene as it's lots of fun. Lots of 80s music, suiting the clientele.
Beach isn't great, access is a bit difficult unless you're staying at a resort on the beach.
Tour trips were good - we went on Tulum/cenote tour - enjoyed that a lot. Also did a catamaran and got lucky with only 13 people total on a boat that normally holds about 35. Seas can be rough - be aware if you're not a strong swimmer.
Good local markets a couple of times a week.
Groceries - walk down the highway to get grocs - a bit concerning as you're walking on the highway.
