点评:This is a large, scenic area, most of which we couldn't see because it rained throughout the duration of our group tour. That is not the area's (or anyone's) fault.
Actually the only clear sky we had for the full week was while we were atop the canyon (4100M) with a good view of "Buddha Mountain".
So, the bus drove up to the top and we were warned over and over and OVER to bring oxygen canisters. I suppose they helped but have no way of really knowing. There is a small parking area, and a short walk along a walkway to the middle of a field, with a couple of provision stalls, some tribute areas, a couple of signs, and that was it.
I do not want this review to sound jaded. The air was fresh and clean, and it was nowhere near as cold as we had been told it would be: light sweater was enough. There is, however, nothing to see except mountains all around, and a sign indicating Shambala Stupa.
In summary: long drive up, mountain scenery all around, clean air, and back down. Yay.
