点评：The DomQuartier Salzburg, located in the heart of Salzburg Old Town, is a series of interconnected historical buildings including the Residenz, Cathedral and monastery. As the seat of power of the prince archbishops, rulers of Salzburg from the Middle Ages until 1803, this complex is an epitome of 1,300 years of Salzburg imperial rule and celebration of its art, music and architecture. Visitors can visit these buildings with one ticket (included in the Salzburg Card), with all the buildings linked together cohesively in a well-planned tour route in one continuous direction. Allocate about 2 hours for the visit and by the end of the tour, you would have covered the State Rooms of the Residenz, Salzburg Cathedral (entering via its organ loft), Cathedral Museum, Cabinet of Art and Curiosities, and the Museum of St Peter's Abbey. At the Residenz, don't forget to snap a momentous photo of yourself donning a period costume. A fantastic and worthwhile tour that showcases how politics, religion and art were intertwined in Salzburg's past.
