点评：If you don’t see the Amalfi coast from the water, you’re missing half the beauty. While excellent ferry service in and out of Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Capri offer a glimmer, your best option is a day with a private charter. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ulisse Charter. Having found Ulisse a few years ago by a stroke of good luck, we returned this past October for another blissful day on the water. It was absolutely the highlight of both vacations. Captain (and boat owner) Mauro takes a personal interest in making sure every detail is handled professionally and with love. Raised in nearby Nerano, Mauro knows every inch of the coast and loves sharing it with his clients. He finds fabulous quiet grottos for swimming and exploring. He provides wonderful refreshments and cocktails. He even finds the perfect restaurant for a late lunch if that is your wish. You set the agenda. So if exploring Capri and towns along the coast is your priority, he will accommodate you. No matter where you are staying along the coast, Mauro will come and collect you from the closest public dock. Our priority was hopping on and off his beautiful boat at numerous locations to swim and get an up-close look inside some gorgeous grottos. Please don’t waste time waiting in line for a one minute peek inside the Blue Grotto in a row boat. Instead, let Mauro show you some of his favorite hidden spots where you can swim inside. You don’t need to be a world class swimmer either. The salt content keeps you afloat or use his swim tubes if you prefer. Because we had a prior excursion with Mauro, we knew we could trust him to suggest new spots as well as revisit some old favorites. He relishes seeing you fall in love with this part of the world that he treasures so much. His charter is great for families as well as couples and small groups. He even provides the towels and fresh water shower on the stern so that you can rinse off after each dip. His potted herbs on his dashboard add the finishing touches to his delicious snacks. Feel free to communicate with him so that he can plan a fabulous day full of fun and great memories that you will cherish until your next trip to the Amalfi Coast and your next day on the water with Mauro.
